About Nancy Alexander
Nancy Alexander’s career has taken her from fashion modeling in Dallas to events planning in New York City. Throughout, she has been an astute fashion observer – witnessing how women are consistently drawn to jewelry that has a story to tell – and how few such pieces are available and affordable.
During her frequent global travels for work and pleasure, she was struck by the remarkable workmanship and designs available from regional artists. It was in Bangkok that she discovered the pieces that would launch Terrene – the Song Dok gold cuff by Gavang and Hullanta iolite and garnet cuff by Daeng. She knew then that she had found something special and that it was time to bring this exceptional jewelry to consumers back home.
“I myself didn’t wear much jewelry unless it was a truly an unusual piece from Guatemala, Russia, Poland, or some other fascinating place I had traveled. Like me, the Terrene customer is looking for something special that draws attention.”
-Terrene Founder Nancy Alexander
Today, Terrene fills the gap between costume and luxury jewelry, offering customers distinctive, high-quality designs from all corners of the earth at affordable prices.
